In the Days of Those Kings

Adult Bible Class Book on Dispensationalism

Fear of getting caught on the wrong side of the rapture is everywhere, and dispensational premillennialism is spreading like a pandemic. All over the world, people are snatching prophecy books off of bookstore shelves, hoping to get some insight into the end-times events that they believe are approaching. These books by "prophecy experts" offer no real satisfying answers, and the reason may be found in the speculation they preach. The dispensational craze may be better known to people as "rapture doctrine," but it is based upon a well organized system that shifts God's eternal purpose from spiritual salvation to the glory of the Israeli nation in an earthly, millennial kingdom.

Up until now, class books have typically provided a 13 lesson study to cover this complex subject. This is fine for the needs of many situations, but doesn't provide elders with an ability to give members indepth study, and teachers the ability to challenge students to their full potential (without a large number of supplemental handouts). For a little more than the cost of a 13 lesson class book, In the Days of Those Kings provides a thorough, challenging, 24 lesson approach that will prove to be a future reference in each student's study library.

In the Days of Those Kings presents a study of dispensationalism, beginning with its flawed interpretational methods. Once the doctrine has been defined, and flawed method exposed, lessons go on to attack the very foundation holding up the entire system. Further lessons clarify and refute dispensational claims, making sure every student understands that Christ is not only our current king, but is also presently sitting on the throne of David. The kingdom promised in the Old Testament was established at Christ's first coming, and Jesus is our Messiah.

Avoid this subject no longer. Talking about the rapture is inevitable as you and your students study with people from various denominations. Equip your students to show them why the very foundation of rapture doctrine is error. By the time you finish this study, your students will not only know why there will not be a "rapture," but will understand why the erroneous system that holds it up is so dangerous.
